The Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing course is a combination of three major areas of nurse training, namely; General Nursing, Community Health nursing and Midwifery.
The goal of the program is to train nurses who will complement the nurses’ cadre of health care providers in meeting the many and ever changing patient needs in our contemporary society and who will demonstrate competence in addressing and managing the emerging health care challenges locally, regionally and globally.
This will be achieved through the effective implementation of a curriculum designed to advance the institution’s vision and mission of becoming a leading regional center of excellence in training health records and information officers, as well as other health professionals.
